Family
As we reflect on the past year, we praise the Lord for all that He has done. He has blessed us with another bald and beautiful baby boy. His first name is Andrew (after the disciple that was known for bringing his friends to Jesus) and his middle name is Stanley (after the best man I know, my Dad). It is our prayer that Andrew will be a humble witness for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The enemy struck immediately after Andrew was born. The doctors noticed that he was having trouble breathing and began treating him in the NICU for the next week. They also notice a skin fold at the base of his spine. The doctors believed that this could be a symptom of a tethered cord. The next few weeks proved to be a difficult time as our concern for Andrew grew. The Lord used this time to draw us even closer to Him. We discovered that His Grace is sufficient and that we need only to trust Him.

We were overwhelmed as our family and friends prayed our little boy through. He is now breathing just fine and the place on his back is nothing more than the Lord’s signature of greatness! We can’t praise the Lord enough and thank everyone for all the prayers that were lifted up for him and us. We are all home, happy, and healthy and we are looking forward to all that He has in store for our family!
